I recently found the exact same "Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America" label on a burgundy work jacket+pants set at thrift shop, with the brand name "aero" in lowercase cursive gold-on-black stitching. Interestingly it has a "Lightning" zipper, which was manufactured in St. Catharines, Canada until 1981. I guess that places it definitively in the 1970s, but I'm not sure what I can infer from the label. Have you heard of other "aero" clothing from this era?
